Questions, a bug, or a player name that shouldn't be there? We're happy to help.

Email support@tricksy.cards. Tell us which game you were playing, your table code if you have it (four characters, shown on the scoreboard), and whether you were on the iPhone app or the website. We usually reply within two days.

How to play

Batak

Four players, 52 cards, ace high, play goes counter-clockwise. Everyone bids how many of the 13 tricks they'll take. The highest bidder picks trump and leads the first trick. Follow suit if you can, trump if you can't, and beat the winning card when you're able to. Make your bid and you score the tricks you took; fall short and you lose your bid. A game is 8 hands.

Pishti

Play a card onto the pile. Match the top card, or play a jack, to take the whole pile. Taking a pile of just one card with its match is a pişti and scores extra. Points also come from aces, jacks, the 2 of clubs, the 10 of diamonds and from taking the most cards. The first to 101 at the end of a deal wins.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Pick a name and play. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.

Who am I playing against?

Every table starts with bots. When people join, they take a bot's seat, so you can play straight away on your own or with others.

How do I play with friends?

Start a table, then share the four-character table code from the scoreboard. Your friends enter that code in the lobby to sit at your table.

My connection dropped. Did I lose my seat?

Your seat is held for 15 seconds. Open the app or page again in that time and you're back with the same cards. After that, a bot plays on for you.
